No install needed: copy the downloaded file onto the RP2350 BOOTSEL drive once it appears.
Unplug USB. Hold PWR for at least 12 seconds, until the screen goes black (replugging alone does not reset the board: the PMIC keeps the rails up). Then hold BOOT while plugging the USB cable back in.
